Here at Longfields we work hard to ensure that the value we place on our learning also extends to those who are a part of our learning environment, our local community and further afield.

Our focus on Values is an integral part of all we do and working alongside our Behaviour strategy and focus on a 'Growth Mind-set' approach to learning, creates our inclusive ethos.

It is our belief that our children should not only be given the very best opportunities to achieve academically and reach their full potential, but that they should leave our care as rounded individuals ready to tackle the next phase of their education. Leaving with a passion for learning and understanding the role that those around them play in that journey and the values that ensure a learning community is both supportive and productive.

As well as recognising the effort and approaches our children display towards their learning, we also openly celebrate commitment to the values that create our happy and supportive environment.

Each term we focus on different values and examples of actions and behaviours that highlight each value. Children are encouraged to be caught displaying these actions with celebration of this being shown on our 'Values Tree'.
