There are seven areas of learning within the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.

There are three prime areas of learning which are:

Communication and Language

Personal, Social and Emotional Development

Physical Development

There are also four specific areas of learning which are:

- Literacy

- Mathematics

- Understanding the World

- Expressive Arts and Design

Whilst the children in Nursery access all areas of learning, the prime areas of learning are the foundations of our Nursery curriculum. We are also guided by the characteristics of effective learning where the children are encouraged to play and explore, to become creative and critical thinkers, and to be active learners.

Our activities in Nursery are open-ended and always promote independence and reflection. We encourage the children to work collaboratively on projects and build resilience and determination. Our curriculum follows children's interests and challenges to inspire each individual learner.

We are dedicated to providing the best possible education experience for the children. The year ahead is brimming with possibilities, and we can't wait to watch your children's achievements and discoveries unfold.
